Obituary of Daniel F. Pellegrino

Daniel F. Pellegrino, 70, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 3, 1951, a son of the late Constantino “Gus” and Gertrude (Duffy) Pellegrino. He was a graduate of Yeadon High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. Dan was currently employed by Allied Universal Security Service, a career he thoroughly enjoyed. He loved to talk football with anyone and he could miraculously recall the score of every game. Most of all, Dan loved to talking to and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of them and all of their achievements. Dan is survived by his wife, Tanis; three children, Lisa Glenn, Mandy Pellegrino and Daniel J. Pellegrino; a sister, Terri Condon (David); two brothers, Gus Pellegrino (Katie) and Gregory Pellegrino; two stepchildren, Shanda Miller and Brian DuRain; four grandchildren, Chris, Devin, Isabella and Nicholas; a great-grandson, Devin; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family. In keeping with Dan’s wishes, his ashes will be spread over the ocean. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
