Obituary of Linda M. Jackson

Linda M. Jackson, 72, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. Born in Rome on May 13, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Rowell and Virgnia (Burke) Yerman. Linda worked at Herb Philipson’s and Bethany Gardens. She loved Native American History, wolves and was a free spirit. She enjoyed plants and flowers, was a great cook. She was an avid reader and liked Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Linda is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Jackson and Gabrielle Jackson; a son, David McClary; a brother, Fred Yerman; five grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher, Robert II and Naomi Jackson and Precious Hayward; four great-grandchildren, Riley, Ayden, Brooklyn and Kai; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Jerry and Brian Yerman. Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N.
