Obituary of Marie A. D'Ambrosi

Marie A. D'Ambrosi, 94 years, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday November 9, 2021 at Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center. She was born on Saturday December 18, 1926 in Rome, the daughter of the late Alfonso and Teresa (Symantra) Macri. She was united in marriage to Giacomo "Jack" D'Ambrosi. He passed away in 1983. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Marie is survived by two daughters, Teresa DeLutis and Crystal D'Ambrosi; three sons, Anthony D'Ambrosi (Debra), Jack D'Ambrosi (Babette) and David D'Ambrosi (Susan); a sister, Barbara Ragonese; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Frank, Vincent, Alfonso Jr., Anthony and Arthur Macri. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 12th, at 9:00 AM at St. John The Baptist Church 210 E. Dominick St., Rome. Interment will take place in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Marie’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. John the Baptist Endowment Fund, 210 E. Dominick St., Rome, NY 13440. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
