Obituary of Louis M. Gisondi

Louis M. Gisondi, 34, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Rome Health. He was born in Rome on May 4, 1988, a son of Louis and Audrey (Mull) Gisondi, Jr. He attended Rome schools and played football and wrestled. On October 4, 2014 he was united in marriage to Nicole McCanney. Lou was working for Crane Company of Vernon, NY. He loved to go fishing for walleyes on Oneida Lake with his father and his cousin Rich and riding around in his 1988 Pontiac Trans Am. Surviving besides his loving wife, Nicole, are two children, Adrianna and Louis Jr.; his parents, Louis and Audrey; a brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Ashley Mull; his in-laws, Jerome and Charlotte McCanney; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Gisondi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. Geore St., Rome. Interment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service from 4-7:00 p.m.
