Obituary of Hilde Martinez

Hilde Martinez, 93, of Rome, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Rome Health. Born in Eichelsdors, Germany on September 13, 1928, she was the daughter of Christian and Anna Bording. In 1946, she was united in marriage to Richard Martinez in Russelsheim, Germany. He passed away on June 6, 2008. Hilde worked for Milton Bradley in Springfield, MA, for many years before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to play Bingo. Hilde is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Isabel and Patrick Carambia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Bonnie Martinez and David and Donna Martinez; a sister, Helena Telepchak; four grandchildren, Pat Carambia, Kimberly Palmieri, Kyra Grenier and Katrina Martinez; four great-grandchildren, Kailey, Natalie, Gigi and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd at 4:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440. There are no calling hours. .
