Obituary of Wayne Thomas Finster

Wayne “Bugger” Finster, 29, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 after losing his long battle with addiction. He was born on May 13, 1993, to Patti Curtis and Gary Finster.

Wayne was an amazing person inside and out with the most infectious laugh and personality. He always followed his passion to be a hairstylist.

Surviving besides his parents are a brother, Steven Curtis (Katie); two sisters, Cathrin Narolis Treonze and Ashley Brockway (Rich); his maternal grandparents, Patricia and Thomas Ferlo; his beloved animals, Topanga, Nova, Max and Lucy; and several aunts, uncles, and friends who will mourn this tremendous loss.

Wayne was a big child at heart and he leaves behind his pride and joys, his nieces and nephews. He loved each and every one of you in his own special way, and had and inseparable bond with each of you separately. Never forget how much you meant to him and how much your uncle Boogie loved you.

Wayne was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Nona Finster; his aunt Lori Curtis; and his beloved dog Hookie. Wayne also lost many friends in his short time on this earth.

A special thank you to the person he always said was his one true soulmate, Anna Fajardo Diaz and her husband Hector. You guys meant the world to him, and still do to his family. Thank you for always being there, never giving up, loving him unconditionally and picking him up every time he fell.

Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Tuesday, June 28^th from 4-7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately after at 7:00 p.m.
