Obituary of Todd M. Crego

Todd M. Crego, 58, of Floyd, passed away on October 16, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Utica. Born in Rome on May 15, 1965, he was a son of the late Donald and Karen (Olmstead) Crego, Sr. He was a 1983 graduate of Holland Patent High School. On May 23, 1998, he was united in marriage to Pamela VanDreason.

Todd was a star softball player for Westernville Legion for many years. He was a member of the Floyd Horseshoe Club and an avid deer hunter.

Surviving besides his loving wife of 25 years, Pam, are his two children, Ryan Crego (Paige) and Haylee Crego; his brother, Donald Crego, Jr. (Tammy); two beloved grandsons, Caleb and Alexander; two nephews, Kyle and Cody and many friends, including Bob Casler, Paul Vanderwerken and Craig Phelps. He was predeceased by his brother, Shawn Crego; and uncle, George Crego.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 20th, at 11:00 a.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home,  Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440. Interment will take place in Westernville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 19th, from 5-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Todd’s memory to the Floyd Fire Department.
